The novice photographer will learn how to take better pictures with user friendly instruction. Learn basic lighting techniques, aperture and Shutter Priority, natural lighting versus flash photography, family portraiture & groupings, landscape & nature photography and understand the process of taking a good, technical and artistic picture.

All of our programmes and workshops are rooted in the same idea: creating powerful art requires rigorous inquiry into techniques and ideas.

Photography Department

Cindy owns and operates a highly successful award winning commercial photography business, in the Northumberland area for the past 15 years. Yearly gallery exhibitions have firmly established her as well in the fine art photography field. In 2008 she published a 111 page fine art photography book entitled NUDES IN NATURE, a project 3 years in the making. Through numerous requests, she began teaching part time in 2005, and has never looked back! She has since expanded her photography business to include photographic tours around the world, combining her love of teaching, photography, and travel.
